AARON WILKENS

Coach Wilkens is serving his eighth season as the head coach of the Norcross High School Baseball program. He has led the Blue Devils to the GHSA playoffs each season he has been at the helm of the program, continuing the longest playoff streak in school history. The 2021 Norcross Baseball team won the 7-AAAAAAA Region Championship. Coach Wilkens earned his 100th win with the Blue Devils early last season and he is 16 victories shy of 200 for his career.  

Coach Wilkens previously coached at Northview High School in Johns Creek, GA. While at Northview, Coach Wilkens led the team to the most wins and highest winning percentage in a season, longest winning streak, and two state playoff berths.  

Coach Wilkens was born and raised in California and graduated from Vista High School where he was a four-year varsity starter. He attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on a baseball scholarship where he was part of the 1999 Big Ten Tournament Championship Team. While at Michigan, he received a BA in English and Psychology. He later earned his Master’s in Education from National University in San Diego, California. In addition to his head coaching duties, Coach Wilkens teaches in the Physical Education Department.  

Coach Wilkens and his wife, Vicky, have two daughters, Kennedy (13) and Addie (12). They live in East Cobb with their French Mastiff (Biggie) and Old English Bulldog (Smalls).
